|I started Olympic lifting through CrossFit and transitioned to Powerlifting 2 years ago.

|I have competed in powerlifting for 2 years and have done 1 Olympic lifting meet.

|Do you have a coach or trainer? In person or online? How did you find your trainer/program? Do you have any advice for women looking for a trainer?
|I have a remote coach. Been with her for about a year now.
|Where do you train? Gym, garage?
|I train in my garage. Occasionally I visit my coach.
|What is the hardest part about beginning lifting as an older woman?
|As I get older it would have to be the recovery.
|How has lifting affected your health?
|It has made me more self aware on how I need to take care of myself.
|What would you tell women just beginning this journey?
|Age is just a number. Don’t be afraid to try.
